A plain-language privacy notice

This notice applies globally. Local privacy and employment laws may provide additional rights or impose stricter requirements.

01 / SCOPE & CONTROLLER

Scope
and data controller

This notice explains how JobsGlobal handles personal information when you visit our websites, create an account, build a profile, apply for a role, recruit candidates, or use related services.

Who controls your information

Arabian Centers Human Resources Limited, operating as JobsGlobal.com, is the data controller when it decides why and how your personal information is processed. Employers, recruiters, and other organisations using JobsGlobal may be separate controllers for information they receive and use for their own recruitment purposes.

How to contact us

Questions, requests, and complaints about this notice or our use of personal information can be sent to privacy@jobsglobal.com. This address also reaches our privacy contact for matters involving the GDPR.

02 / WHAT WE COLLECT

Personal information
we collect

We collect information you provide, information created when you use the service, and information received from permitted third-party sources. The information collected depends on how you use JobsGlobal.

Information you provide

  • Account and contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number, password, country, location, and preferred language.
  • Profile and application details, such as your CV, work history, education, qualifications, skills, photograph, salary expectations, work authorisation, visa status, job preferences, and application history.
  • Employer and business details, such as the account holder's name, role, business email address and phone number, organisation information, verification details, job postings, candidate evaluations, billing records, and platform activity. Business contact details are personal information when they identify a person and receive the same protections described in this notice.
  • Communications and support records, including messages, interview arrangements, feedback, survey responses, and enquiries sent through our services.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical and usage data, such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, cookie or device identifiers, log data, pages viewed, approximate location, and the dates and times you use the service.

Sources and sensitive information

We may receive information from employers, recruiters, referrals, identity or screening providers, connected services, and public professional sources where the law permits. We do not request sensitive personal information from employers for ordinary account and business use. Candidates and employers should avoid providing sensitive information unless it is requested and necessary. Where we process special-category data, we rely on explicit consent or another condition permitted by applicable law.

Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, and other social sources

We may receive profile and contact details, social-media handles, campaign or lead-form responses, message content, communication preferences, and interaction data when you contact JobsGlobal, respond to a recruitment campaign, use a connected service, or interact with us through platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and WhatsApp. We may also receive professional or business contact information from public social-media profiles where the law permits.

The relevant social-media provider also processes information under its own privacy notice. Where the GDPR applies and we obtain information from another source, we provide the required notice within one month, when we first contact you, or before the first disclosure, unless a legal exception applies.

03 / HOW WE USE IT

How we use
personal information

We use personal information only for stated purposes and when we have a valid legal basis. The basis depends on the service and your relationship with JobsGlobal.

To provide the service and perform a contract

  • Create and manage accounts, profiles, job postings, applications, interviews, subscriptions, and customer support.
  • Display relevant roles or candidates and enable requested communication between candidates, employers, and recruiters.

For our legitimate interests

  • Protect users, prevent fraud and misuse, secure the service, enforce our terms, and establish or defend legal claims.
  • Measure performance, troubleshoot problems, analyse service use, and improve JobsGlobal where these interests are not overridden by your rights.

With consent or to comply with law

  • Send optional marketing, use non-essential cookies, or process information where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Meet tax, accounting, employment, sanctions, regulatory, law-enforcement, and other legal obligations that apply to us.

04 / ETHICAL RECRUITMENT

Data use in
ethical recruitment

We design our use of personal information around fair recruitment, respect for worker dignity, data minimisation, transparency, and access to remedy.

Our recruitment data commitments

  • Collect only information that is relevant to assessing suitability for a role, providing requested recruitment services, or supporting lawful cross-border deployment.
  • Do not use protected characteristics or sensitive information to discriminate unlawfully, exclude unfairly, or facilitate coercion, trafficking, forced labour, or child labour.
  • Do not charge jobseekers recruitment fees or related placement costs through JobsGlobal. Report any request for payment connected with securing a job.
  • Promote clear job terms, informed candidate choices, confidentiality, and a way to raise concerns without retaliation.
  • Do not require candidates to surrender passports, identity documents, wages, deposits, or other personal property as a condition of recruitment.

Report an ethical recruitment concern

Email privacy@jobsglobal.com if personal information is being misused in recruitment or if a recruiter requests prohibited fees, documents, deposits, or discriminatory information. We will review the concern and route it for appropriate action.

05 / WHO SEES IT

Information sharing
and disclosure

We disclose personal information only when needed to provide the service, follow your instructions, protect legitimate interests, or comply with law.

Who may receive information

  • Employers, recruiters, and hiring teams when you apply, make your profile discoverable, or ask us to share your information. Their own privacy notices govern their separate use.
  • Service providers that support hosting, storage, communications, analytics, customer support, payments, identity checks, security, and other business operations under contractual safeguards.
  • JobsGlobal affiliates and professional advisers where access is necessary and subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, public authorities, or transaction parties when required by law, needed to protect rights and safety, or connected with a corporate reorganisation.

Your control over sharing

Review profile visibility and application settings before submitting information. Information you choose to publish or send to another user may be copied or retained by that recipient outside JobsGlobal.

We do not sell personal information

JobsGlobal does not sell or rent candidate or employer personal information. We do not sell phone numbers, email addresses, CVs, profiles, or social-media contact data. A disclosure to an employer, recruiter, or service provider is limited to the purposes described in this notice and is not a sale of personal information.

06 / CROSSING BORDERS

International
data transfers

JobsGlobal operates internationally. Your personal information may be processed in the United Arab Emirates and other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.

Safeguards for EEA and UK information

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we use a lawful transfer mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, or another permitted safeguard. Contact privacy@jobsglobal.com to ask about the safeguard relevant to a transfer or to request an available copy.

07 / HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

How long we
keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, including to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution requirements.

How we decide the retention period

We consider the type, amount, sensitivity, and risk of the information; the reason it was collected; account activity; legal limitation periods; and mandatory retention duties. Retention periods therefore vary by record and country.

Deletion and anonymisation

When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it. Limited copies may remain in protected backups until they are overwritten, or be retained where needed to comply with law, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

Account deletion

Close your account and begin the data deletion process.

08 / YOUR RIGHTS

Your data
protection rights

Depending on where you live and subject to legal conditions and exceptions, you may exercise the following rights over your personal information.

Rights available to you

  • Ask whether we process your information and request access to it and a copy.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or complete information that is incomplete.
  • Request deletion where the information is no longer needed or processing is unlawful.
  • Request restriction of processing in circumstances provided by law.
  • Receive information you provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller where applicable.
  • Object to direct marketing at any time and object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation.
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Request human review where a solely automated decision produces legal or similarly significant effects.

How to make a request

Email privacy@jobsglobal.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and authority. We aim to respond within one month where the GDPR applies, although the law allows an extension for complex or numerous requests.

Right to complain

You may complain to the data protection authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the concern.

09 / MATCHING & AUTOMATION

Matching and
automated decisions

JobsGlobal may use automated tools to recommend, rank, or match jobs and candidates using information such as skills, experience, location, preferences, and activity.

Decisions with significant effects

JobsGlobal does not make a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects unless the law permits it and required safeguards are in place. Employers and recruiters make their own hiring decisions. Where applicable, you may request human intervention, express your view, and contest an automated decision.

Fair matching

We aim to keep matching relevant and explainable and to reduce unlawful bias. Protected characteristics and special-category information are not used to rank candidates unless a lawful, necessary, and transparent reason applies.

10 / COOKIES & THIRD PARTIES

Cookies and
third-party services

We use necessary technologies to operate and secure the service. With consent where required, we may also use analytics, preference, or advertising technologies.

Cookie choices

Use the cookie settings available on the site to accept, reject, or change non-essential cookies. Browser controls can also block or remove cookies, but some features may not work correctly.

Third-party services and links

External websites, plug-ins, social sign-in services, and employer services have their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information. JobsGlobal is not responsible for how an independent third party processes information outside our control.

Read the cookie policy

11 / SAFETY & SECURITY

Children, security,
and confidentiality

We limit use by children and apply safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal information.

Children

JobsGlobal is not intended for anyone below the minimum working age or the age at which they may consent to online services in their country. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information without valid permission should contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

How we protect information

Measures are selected according to risk and may include access controls, encryption, logging, monitoring, backups, staff confidentiality duties, and supplier reviews. No internet service is completely secure, so please use a strong password and protect your account credentials.

Personal data breaches

We assess suspected personal data breaches and notify regulators and affected people when required by applicable law.

CHANGES & CONTACT

Your privacy,
always in view.

We may update this notice to reflect changes to our services, processing, or legal obligations.

How we announce changes

We will publish the updated notice here and change the last-updated date. If a change materially affects your rights or how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice where required.
